March Presentation and Social Features Tatyana Pozdnyakova and Alex Zagoruyko
Our March 18th Presentation and Social features Tatyana Pozdnyakova and Alex Zagoruyko.  Ms. Pozdnyakova holds the marathon World Record for women over 45, with a time of 2:29:00.  She was twice the overall champion at the LA Marathon at the amazing age of 46 and 47.   She has also ran 3:56.50 for 1500 meters.  Mr. Zagoruyko, her husband and coach, has also coached Ludmila Petrova to a 2:23:14 marathon at the Flora London Marathon and is himself a national champion in the steeplechase with a PR of 8:17.  Ms. Pozdnyakova will give a talk and then both her and her husband will be available for questions.

Our meeting will start at 7 p.m. with a half hour of socializing and refreshments.  At 7:30 the presentation will begin.  We will conclude the evening with a brief club business meeting.  Please join us at the Washington Park Center at 2025 Washington Street.
